We are all NEW due to being hacked.

The schedule is being updated accordingly, and as information is available we will pass it along. If you have any information for us, please email me at: ddaniels@concordskyhawks.org and I will post it as soon as I can.

Please take the time to re-register with our new site, this website is simple and effective to get our messages and information to you, and without your help the site will never have anything new.

Concord Skyhawks

The Concord Skyhawks R/C Flying Club was founded in 1983. We are dedicated to promoting and teaching the sport of model aviation. Our mission as a club is to share the knowledge we have learned over the years and pass it on to others as they join our sport.

We are an Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) chartered club. As such we are guided by AMA rules and guidelines for organization and safety. We have built our club on the basis of having fun and enjoying the sport while still maintaining a safe environment for all to enjoy.

We welcome new members of all ages and experience. Our club has the privilege of flying off a local sod farm with an open field, no obstructions and beautiful woodland on one side and river to the backside. We meet weekly during the summer on Tuesday nights for club flying night and the field is available seven days a week from 9:00am to dark for any club member. Flying is permitted only by club members with current AMA status and their guests. If someone comes as a guest after three visits we ask that you join our club. Dues are paid annually and are $40.00 for the first year and $20.00 subsequent years. We also offer reduced dues for spouses or non flying members or a junior membership for those 16 and under.

We hold regular business meeting from November to May on the second Saturday of the month. During the summer the club holds monthly Fun Fly events which are geared toward the basics of flying and all are encouraged to participate regardless of flying experience.

Our club also offers a flight training program to all new members who would like some help getting started. We also have an Introductory Pilot program in which someone who is interested in the sport can come and try it first before they make an investment in the sport.

If you would like to know more about us or to join our club please contact one of our club officers. We look forward to meeting with you.
